Hartmut Beyer started his professional career in the 1960s, when he worked with different companies in the fields of power plant construction and shipbuilding in Germany and abroad.
_
In 1970 he set up his own business for restoration of old-timers and trading with exclusive automobiles.
From 1970 to 1976 he competed actively as a driver in different race classes such as Formula 3 and GT.
_
Ever since the 1970s, Hartmut Beyer has been a consultant in various business fields like new technologies (fuel cell, aluminium light-weight constructions), M + A range, sponsoring and execution of race events. He also advised several international companies on the establishment of an automobile plant, and a R&D center.
_
His expertise covers logistics and marketing of hydrogen, as well as the market of fuel cells production.
_
In the 1990s he became a personal advisor of a large international company for strategic planning and business development.
_
In the period 1997-2000, he consulted two well-known Formula 1 racing teams.
_
He was also a consultant in the planning and construction of the Formula 1 race track in Bahrain, as well as a race track in Moscow. In 2004 he started to plan a race circuit downtown Bucharest, which was launched in 2007.

He is also Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board at Rhinos AG Salzburg.
