Winners Collect CGDC Awards for Enhancing Global Dialogue

The 2nd CGDC Annual Meeting in Vienna (May 16-18), culminated in the CGDC Awards ceremony and gala dinner. The CGDC Awards 2012 were granted to individuals and organizations with outstanding contribution to promoting dialogue and understanding worldwide. Winners were selected according to their achievements in humanitarian causes, music, politics and sport. For a second consecutive year, President Bill Clinton was the CGDC guest of honor, this year accepting the CGDC Award 2012 for “Enhancing Mutual Understanding and Dialogue amongst Diverse People.”

Education for Change – Scholarships to Students from the Western Balkans Commitment to Action as part of the Clinton Global Initiative

Within the next six years, the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation – CGDC, together with its valued sponsors, will enable sixtyfive students from the Western Balkans to participate in the MBA program in Public Governance and Management at MODUL University Vienna, a private university in Vienna, Austria.

In the scope of the Clinton Global Initiative, CGDC committed Scholarships to Students from the Western Balkans

In September 2010, Petar Stoyanov, President of the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation, and Stamen Stantchev, Secretary General and Founder of CGDC, reached an Agreement with the Clinton Global Initiative.

MODUL University Vienna: New CGDC Partner

In March 2010 a Memorandum was signed by Prof. Dr. Karl Wöber, President MODUL University Vienna, and Prof. Dr. Harvey Goldstein, Dean of the Department of Public Governance and Management, on one side and President Petar Stoyanov and Stamen Stantchev, General Secretary from the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation (CGDC) on the other side, to facilitate cooperation between these two institutions.
