ANNUAL CGDC AWARD

Guided by the belief “The energy of mind is the essence of CGDC” the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation – CGDC has decided that the 1st Annual CGDC Award is to be presented to GENERAL WESLEY K. CLARK.
A retired Five-Star General, he devoted himself to international diplomacy and cooperation, and the award recognizes General Clark for his outstanding service and commitment to ENHANCING MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND DIALOGUE AMONGST DIVERSE PEOPLE.
General Clark is an exceptional leader whose vision encourages the next generation of leaders, thinkers and citizens to address the challenges of global interdependence. He has created success by engaging in dialogue amongst leaders, governments, private sector and civil society.

As a leading Goodwill Ambassador of the developing world and challenging traditional key players, Angelina Jolie has championed new ideas. For these reasons, the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation – CGDC presents ANGELINA JOLIE with the 1st Annual CGDC Award in recognition of her contributions to ENHANCING INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE.
Angelina Jolie has displayed exceptional courage while her whole-hearted dedication to giving hope and goodwill for a better world is extraordinary. Angelina, perhaps more than any other famous actor in history, teaches us that each and every human, in any walk of life, is like all others in the ways that truly matter. Her fight against resignation in finding solutions to humanitarian disasters is unique. Her energy and spirit are inspiring in ENHANCING INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE.
