UNIDO Grants Consultative Status to CGDC

At the forty-first session of the Industrial Development Board, which took place from 24th to 27th June 2013, the Center for Global Dialogue and Cooperation – CGDC was granted a consultative status with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization – UNIDO. The decision of the UNIDO Board was officially announced by the newly-appointed Director General Li Yong. According to the rules of procedure of the General Conference and the Industrial Development Board, the consultative status with UNIDO entitles a CGDC representative to attend the sessions of the Conference and the Board on matters of particular concern to the CGDC and collaborate with UNIDO in areas of mutual interest.
